MOLLE (pronounced MOLLY) is an acronym for MOdular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. MOLLE uses rows of heavy-duty nylon stitched onto the vest/pack to allow for attachment of various MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories. These are called PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System).
