Extra cost is well worth not having to suffer the pain of blisters. 5 Star

At the moment I am preparing a team for Nijmegen. In order to qualify we had to complete a 50 mile walk/March over roads for 2 days in Cosford and to put the pressure on us more we had to complete it with all of us as we only had the minimum people allowed to go to Nijmegen as a team. After chatting with your goodselves at RVOps we decided to go for this particular boot. I have done this walk before in Hi Tech Magnums and my feet were torn to shreds and these boots had been broken in. We only collected our boots 2 days before the march which some would think is flaunting with danger. Straight away you could tell the difference as soon as you put these boots on your feet. I completed the march without a single blister and that is a first for me. I think the most blisters in the team was 4 and that was from someone who thought his own boots were better (he's now investing in a pair). I will buy LOWA all the time now and the extra cost is well worth not having to suffer the pain of blisters. We finished with the full team in the end (only team to do so) and we won the Best Army Team trophy not bad for a bunch of Sun dodging Submariners. Thanks RVOps and thanks LOWA.

The Best Boots I have ever had! 5 Star

They have performed first class during the recent/ongoing cold spell, used daily on my early walks to the bus stop, over snow filled field and tracks, outstanding, 10 out of 10

On here to order a new pair 5 Star

Awesome boots. Have done Cambrian Patrol twice, Nijmegen once and everything else in between. Have cracked the leather around the flex points at the toe and around the achilles panel due to lack of TLC (drying out next to an AGA, going rather crispy) and worn out the sole in two and a half years of regular use and abuse, including as mountaineering boots taking me from scratch to Mountain Leader. On here to order a new pair...

The ankle support is superb 5 Star

I had a bad fall and crushed my heel eight months ago, and walking is still difficult. Not so with these boots. The padding is just right, the ankle support is superb, which alone makes the boots worth the money. Without the boots I limp. With the boots I am up to 10km a day, cross country, and steadily increasing that to get back to full fitness. These boots are the best physio you could have. Personally I prefer the faster drying lining, since I tend to walk where there is a lot of water up to a few feet deep, and hard wearing certainly is better for me. The boots are a bargain at the moment. They really don't need much breaking in, but did take about a week to loosen up a little.

Very comfortable from Day 1 5 Star

Far and away the best boots I have ever worn! Very comfortable from Day 1. After breaking my leg last year and spending 6 months non-weight bearing, I have problems with my ankle. Not with these boots!! The ankle support is superb and the cushioning allows me to walk normally (and without walking aids) for the first time in a year. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone. The service from RVOps was excellent. Ordered on the Sunday, despatched on the Monday and wearing the boots on Tuesday morning.

I could have worn them all night 5 Star

Brilliant boot. I have not worn it in the field yet but got it after a couple of years of issue boots and finally doing my ankle on rough ground during section attacks. Wore them all day working at the Leuchars Air Show and I could have worn them all night as well. They feel a lot firmer round my ankles (like my 4 season winter boots), light and have needed no breaking in. They may end up retiring my very old Meindl civvy walking boots as well!!! I never get the point of GTX boots and am happy I have found these.
