Sturdy, water repellent 1.8mm full grain leather with Cordura® inserts
Cambrelle® lined, with a Gore-Tex® backing for outstanding comfort and waterproofness
Vibram® 'Anaconda' sole for improved grip and shock absorbtion.
Lasted onto a 3mm board to give longitudinal / torsional rigidity, as well as superb underfoot protection on rough terrain

Comfortable and waterproof boot

I purchased these the week before my PTI course as the heels of my old boots disintergrated (great timing!). Completed a CFT 2 days in with no blisters. As they are goretex I also wear them on regular trips up the Beacons. These are ideal if you want a comfortable and waterproof boot.

Good quality construction and manufacture.

Hi, I bought these a few days before camp when my Proboots self destructed. No time for running in at all. I wore them for a 48 hr exercise and they were very good. Fair amount of tabbing and no blisters or hot spots. The lacing system works well allowing the foot and ankle to be at different tensions. I have wide foot and they seem a little narrow but it didn't turn out to be a problem. Good quality construction and manufacture. All round good kit.

Best "mid" boots i have ever tried

Put these boots to the test and they passed, superbly! Lowa have got the compromise between comfort and support absolutely perfect. These boots are very comfy straight out of the box and the gortex lining works 100 percent. Without question, these are the best "mid" boots i have ever tried. I certainly wont be wearing anything else for the foreseeable future.

100% the best pair of boots I have ever had

Bought these boots for mid duties and not tabbing around fields. I have to say, 100% the best pair of boots I have had the pleasure of wearing. Warm & comfortable out the box (can wear with trainer socks if you really wanted) found these a good boot for standing up all day carrying out work. I always feared Lowa to be a bit on the heavy side, but comparing to a size 11 British Army Assault Boot they actually weigh in at less (just a smidge over 1 kg a boot). Prompt delivery and great customer service.
