SUUNTO
The Suunto Vector Watch, Suunto Advisor Watch and Suunto Altimax have always been popular in terms of functionality and ease of use and the new Suunto X9Mi m Watch has been generally regarded as the ultimate military watch. But be advised that there is now a limited edition of new watches in the Suunto range that have been specifically aimed at the military market. For those of you who are in the front line of keeping fit, then the new, very affordable, Suunto T1, Suunto T3 and Suunto T3PB are worth considering. For the more adventurous among you, then we would suggest considering the Suunto Vector, Suunto Advisor or Suunto Altimax. Taking the Suunto choice to the highest level the X9Mi m with its red back light and MILS functionality, is going to be the choice of most military personnel, however the Suunto X6 hr and Suunto Observer B, have to be the ultimate adventure watches and being black and part of Suunto's limited collection are perfect for military use.
Finally we, as always, would advise you ask yourself what it is you need from your watch. It's all well and good having the latest top-of-the-range watch but if the only thing you're going to use it for is timing your run then the new Suunto T1, instead of the X9Mi m , would do the trick nicely.
GARMIN
We believe that Garmin lead the market in Global Positioning Systems (GPS). With this in mind RVOps only stock Garmin GPS. Our most popular GPS is the Garmin Foretrex 101 GPS, however the Garmin Camo GPS and Garmin E-Trex GPS have over the years been very popular.
Finally we would advise when choosing your GPS that you choose one that runs on AA batteries as they tend to be available where ever you may deploy.
