I have to agree with the first review, this gel is only any use for starting barbeques. I took it on exercise, along with a crusader cooker, and ended up using hexi. In the end I bought a gas burner which is what I should have done in the first place.... » more...

I quite disagree with you. if you use these with a crusader cooker it works great ! I 've been using this ethanol fuel gel in afghanistan during my deployment and it was worth it ! one pack boils a pint of water quicly enough, it get lighted easily and takes virtually no place ! I tried this product and i found it of no use. It is no good on hexy block cookers as it will just spill over the edge or go through the holes.
