Helmet Scrim Net OG

The iconic scarf that was first created for the British Army,used in WWII and still being used today. The scarf is shaped like a traditional scarf, but it is made from mesh fabric. The scarves are traditionally used by the military and in particular Airborne units. Enjoying a resurgence in popularity as helmet scrim in Afghanistan to reduce the glare of a helmet.

Camouflage
One of the best uses for a scrim net is as camouflage. Used as cam for a weapon, optics, ghillie suits etc etc.Scrim nets are usually made from green, gray, black or some other dark color and have a variety of uses both in the military and the hunting/outdoors environment. Since the scarf is netted, it is still possible to see out from the scarf while it is being worn.
