Assault Vests

Assault vests and chest rigs are very much personal choice. For those of you who are mainly vehicle borne we would recommend a chest rig. The chest rig is comfortable and doesn't interfere with the mechanics of driving however in hot climates it is not easy to vent. If however you are spending more time on foot then you have a selection of vests to choose from.

On choice ask yourself what job you will be doing and how long will you go between resupplies? If your operational and returning back to your main base on a regular basis then a vest that carries maximum ammunition would a wise choice, but if your venturing further afield, say on a recce, then a load carrying vest maybe more appropriate.

Bergen/Rucksacks

We sell two types of Bergen / Rucksacks. Both the Berghaus Vulcan and Lowe Alpine Saracen have been proven and had exceptional operational results. Both excel in comfort, however the Saracen tends to be a more technical carrying system, whereas the Vulcan is a comfortable no nonsense, straight forward arrangement with the emphasis on simplicity.

Day sacks

Within RVOps we try and stick to proven products and on that note all our day sacks fit the bill perfectly. Although the Berghaus Munro continues to take top spot, on the down side they don't offer the day sack in desert or DPM, which is why we continue to offer you the choice of the Lowe Alpine Sabre and the Arktis Assault pack. Both the Arktis Assault pack and Lowe Alpine Sabre offer a DPM option.
