The X large 109L dry bag for the main body of your bergan/rucsac is an absolute field essential!! There have been many attempts to replicate the Ortlieb dry bag, but these bags still remain in many peoples opinion, the best. These bags are robust and waterproof enough to put up with the abuse the will be expected to be thrown at them.

I have been sent two ortlieb bags to review, one "extra large" (109 litres) and one "medium" (35 litres). On initial inspection they always seem to be bombproof, being made of thick rubber.
