Blast Boxers

I own a private military company and have spent 25 years of my life involved in desert warfare. 16 years in the UK special forces and privately after that. Personal protection has long been an issue. The increasing power and complexity of IEDs is of real concern.

These are the next thing I pack after my HK417/ Sig226 when getting ready to deploy. They are surprisingly comfortable in the "commando" mode in the desert.

A number of my guys (and their wives) have a great deal to be grateful for as a result of blast boxers usually as a result of an IED or mine under a vehicle. Traditional body armour profiles do not offer any protection in such situations. Blast boxers have save life and limb many times over for my guys. What would have been fatal or devastating physical and psychological injuries are reduced to reasonably manageable moderate injuries.

They are now compulsory kit.
