Gore-Tex® lined Lowa Mountain Boots

I bought these boots to replace a pair of Meindl Desert Fox's that I've worn ragged here in the NZ bush. The boots have proven to be superb. I'm not a military user just a keen Walker and Mountaineer. NZ provides some tough conditions and these boots have thus far shrugged off the worst of NZ tracks and trails with no problem. I've paired them with some Yeti gaiters which once fitted ( and that is a mission) have been great. The sole unit has proven to be grippy on all sorts of surfaces from slimy river boulders to loose rock and scree. Good in snow and kept my feet toasty warm. I've gotten them saturated a few times now with river crossings. I havent found they have taken any longer to dry than 'normal' boots. To sum up very comfy, super quick break in time. Tough and serviceable.
