Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit - Black

First of all i didnt buy mine from this shop and it was a gift. what a gift!! I openend the box an what a great looking piece of kit. It's a matt black multi-tool complete with a nylon carry case with a Molle strap that can double back as a belt loop. I have had my case for afew years and it is still functioning well with quality velcro. Its a very sturdy and well-made bit of kit, a solid weight but not too heavy for yet another bit of kit on the belt!

The Spirit has pretty much everything you would expect from a multi-tool: knife, metal saw, wood saw, can-opener, bottle opener, metal file, scissors, wire cutters, pliers, numerous screwdrivers, and a lock mechanism which keeps all your tools steady when using them.

knife. Not fancy, straight forward with a great cutting blade. Mine has been sharpened a couple of times due to usage and each time comes up brilliantly.
The wood saw cut brilliantly and is still sharp after years of usage and recently performed well cutting out an injured male from a bush!! All the attachments are very strong with little flex (having broken two leathermans before!) and just alittle spray of lube keeps it running smooth and working in tip top condition.
Obviously the leatherman wave in comparison does much the same and its a lot of money to spend on a bit of kit but reading Arsse reviews before I would totally aggree with his field testing!! I have used it so many times with no issues and I also beleive it is not as bulky as the leathermans. I would buy another one if I lost mine without a shadow of a doubt and you just have to think, Victorinox have been making the swiss army knifes and tools for years and dont make S*@T and nor do RVOps sell it!!
