Sorbo-Pro is suitable for all sports and leisure footwear, in shoe sizes between 3 and 12.5, and incorporates a technically advanced, antibacterial top sheet that wicks away moisture, for maximum comfort. It is ideal for activities like athletics, ball sports, golf, tennis, walking, hiking and fitness training, as well as the military and emergency services.

While normal pronation, or turning inward, is needed as the foot adapts to the ground, over-pronation causes the arch to flatten and soft tissue to stretch, leading to joint surfaces functioning at unnatural angles. It is one of the most common causes of foot and leg discomfort, leading to such symptoms as heel and knee pain, achilles tendonitis, flat feet and shin splints. This is exacerbated by activities where there is excessive rotation or sustained shock impact, such as golf and tennis swings, distance running and hiking, cross country, cricket and football, even yomping.

Developed with technical input from in-house biomechanics experts and Sorbothane’s brand ambassador, international cricketer Matthew Hoggard, new Sorbo-Pro Total Control addresses the problem of over-pronation with carefully crafted insole geometry. This features a heel cup and stabilising arch that together cradle the foot and reduce exercise pronation, while Sorbothane shock absorbing pads in the heel and forefoot give unrivalled impact protection and positive energy return. The antibacterial top sheet employs the latest nano-silver technology to inhibit bacteria and minimise perspiration.

Awesome insole, I have just done a 6 mile tab with weight on my back to break these in and they are perfect. Comfortable, supportive (not in an emotional way!) and good fitting. These will last im sure of it and are the best i have tested so far. Cant wait to test them in the field this weekend.... » more...
